Money transfer to Tanzania (James Colton)

tanzanian flagToday we have made a bank transfer to James and Rose in Kibaha.

As always, many thanks to everyone who supports them financially; and on behalf of the Coltons, thank you.

James will next visit the bank on Friday and the money will be waiting for him. We can remember the ‘old days’ when an international bank transfer was a long-winded affair, that involved a trip to the bank a few miles away, a lengthy wait for the right person to be available, a complicated form-filling exercise before the eventual completion.

It then took some time before the money appeared in the destination bank. Nowadays, with the internet, it’s a simple enough few clicks and away you go. And the money gets there pretty quickly as well.
