Thoughts from Luke 18 (Don’t set yourself up for a fall)

The moment we start to think we’re something special, we begin to walk a path that will end up in our downfall. Taking the moral high ground means we’re often setting ourselves up for a fall. And the higher we set ourselves up, the further we fall.
Don’t compare ourselves to others, because when we do we always end up looking good. We always look at their faults and ignore ours. If we want to compare ourselves to anyone, do it with Jesus. Then none of us will have anything to brag about.
