Thoughts from John 11 (Ditch your grave clothes and be truly free)

When Jesus gave the command, Lazarus was raised from the dead. He walked out from the tomb but was still covered in grave clothes. The final command was to remove these.
Grave clothes are those things from the past, that even though we have been set free, still pull us down. To be truly free we have to deal with everything, from the surface right down to the roots. Especially the roots.
What are your ‘grave clothes’? What things are constantly pulling you down? Holding you back? Until we take off the grave clothes we will never be really free.
