Thoughts from Romans 2 (Pointing the finger at others)

We have to make judgments every day of our lives, and that includes assessing other people. But there’s a difference between that and being judgmental.
Often people who critically point the finger at others are merely deflecting from their own shortcomings. By highlighting the perceived faults of others we are taking the spotlight off our own lives.
Look at your own life first, and if you’re honest about what you see, you won’t have time to finger point at anyone else. You’ll be too busy sorting yourself out.
