Thoughts from 2 Corinthians 13 (Let self-examination make you humble)

Too many people spend their time examining others; it’s called being judgmental. However, what we need to do is look closer to home and turn the spotlight on ourselves.
The reality is that if we examine ourselves with honesty we won’t have time or the inclination to point the finger at others.
But rather than adopt a ‘no-one can say anything about me because you’re being judgmental’ attitude, our own shortcomings will drive us to humility rather than arrogance.
