Latest update from Kibaha (James Colton)

Greetings in Jesus name. Thanks for your prayers. It has been a difficult week! Last Friday I came to the internet and read my emails then before I could write the replies there was a power cut!
Rose’s nephew Christopher was seriously ill with TB and we were expecting him to come with his wife and young daughter and stay with us for a while to recuperate but early Saturday morning we received a call to say Christopher had died.
It was planned for Rose to travel with Asunta and Richard (Christopher’s sister and brother) to go to the funeral. BUT then we heard that relatives from Christopher’s father’s family organised the funeral for the same afternoon with no consultation to his mother’s side of the family.
They did not travel but sent money to support Christopher’s wife and 2 year old daughter. Richard came in the afternoon and stayed the night with us.
We were able to pray together and support each other. We have invited Christopher’s wife and daughter (Rehema and Margaret) to come and stay with us for a few days.
Christopher’s mother and father are both dead. Rose as “Small Mother” (Aunt) has always kept in touch with the five brothers and sisters – Asunta actually living with us. Rose had been in constant communication with Christophe during this illness and always praying with him.
Thankfully Rose had talked with Christopher and prayed with him to receive Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. It was a difficult time for Rose but we are thankful for God’s presence and help.
I thank God that I was still able to stand to teach Adult Sunday School, teaching on Holiness.
Please keep Rehema and Margaret in your prayers.
Greetings from Rose.
God Bless,
James and Rose
