We tend to think of tough times in life as being bad, and understandably so. But if we read, and handle, the situation right they can actually become positives.
When the going gets tough, what happens is the real us comes to the fore. Character is never really tested in good times. It’s easy to be happy if you’ve just inherited a fortune.
But it’s when things aren’t so rosy that we get to find out where we really are. We may not like what we see and that should then motivate us to improve.
So to borrow lyrics from a well-known 60’s song, even the bad times are good.
