Thoughts from 1 John 3 (Godly relationships)

The Bible tells us that love for others is the outward evidence of a life that has been touched by God. But it also becomes very specific and refers to love of fellow believers, calling them brothers and sisters.

If you call yourself a Christian yet find your relationships are all in the world and not in the church, then there’s something seriously wrong.

And the problem isn’t with church, which is what people in that position would say. That’s an excuse to pass the issue on to make it someone else’s fault.

No, the problem is with you. If you’re preferring ungodly relationships over righteous fellowship, then the alarm bells ought to be ringing. Pretty loudly as well.
