If you live in the Black Country, why not consider entering a team into our 7-a-side competition? We’ve got the ‘winter cup’ coming up shortly, the DBMT (David Bloor Memorial Trophy), which will give you the opportunity to ‘test the water’ before deciding whether to apply to enter the league or not later on.
With minimal amount of organising involved, it’s ideal for someone who wants to get together a team for the first time. It could be a group of mates who currently have a kick-around but would like something more competitive. Or maybe you run a weekend 11-a-side team and would like some midweek football to try out players or keep some of your fringe squad members involved. It’s perfect for that.
Anyway, here’s the site for this season’s SICM Sevens. We play Mondays at Coseley Leisure Centre from 9.00pm for an hour, why not pay us a visit and see how it works. We’d love to see you. Contact Stewart Bloor (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can look out for you.
SICM Sevens is a charity league, so as well as playing football you also get to help out a good cause at the same time. We work mostly in Africa and we are a registered charity (1057488).
