Just a few weeks back we were talking about the league being a two-horse race. In some ways it is still, but with a different co-challenger. Crestwood Town FC’s amazing climb from the bottom of the table continues, and they now occupy second spot.

On current form they were slight favourites to beat Kingsbourne, but they ended up doing it in style by recording the biggest victory of the evening. A Dan Evans hat-trick helped them to an emphatic 7-2 win.

Allstar Lions extended their lead at the top to four points and a game in hand, as they inflicted a 5-3 defeat on Brandhall & Quinton FC. Top of the pile at the start of October, the loss sees Brandhall move out of the top two for the first time this season.

In the basement battle, United FC went into the break with a comfortable 4-0 lead. Tipton Family Church FC came back in the second half, but not enough to gain anything from the game. The final score was 4-2.
