LIONS TAMED (SICM Sevens)

This week’s games produced a couple of shocks, as the top two in the league only amassed one point between them.

Firstly, and the top result of the season so far, Kingsbourne pulled off an amazing 4-1 victory over Allstar Lions. This is the first time that Martyn Shepherd’s outfit have tasted defeat this season.

Secondly, high-flying and in-form Crestwood Town FC were held 5-5 by United FC. It was a cracking game (as expected) by all accounts.

After a terrible start to the season, when they were rooted at the bottom, Crestwood have now established themselves in second place, albeit having played more games than Brandhall & Quinton FC.
