‘It is for freedom that Christ has set us free’ Galatians 5:1

We just cleaned our guinea pig out. Usually we put the top part of the cage over him while we clean the bottom section, but on this occasion we let him loose in the house.
He didn’t know what to do. He’s lived in a cage for so long he doesn’t appreciate the freedom of it not being there. He hid behind a cupboard and only returned to his self once he was back in the cage.
We can be like that sometimes. We can be so imprisoned by negative circumstances, situations, relationships etc that in a bizarre way they become comfort zones.
Don’t live in the cage. Live outside of it.
