Well done to Tipton Family Church FC, who last night recorded just their second win in the league so far this season. Kingsbourne are always a tough team to beat, as the table indicates, and in their last twelve encounters between the two TFC have only won three of them.
In their last ten games TFC have found the net 2.2 times on average while their opponents had a slightly higher rate of 3.3. The form book was reversed though, and some more, as Tipton ran out 7-4 winners with Dave Law scoring five of them.

Crestwood Town almost pulled off a great victory themselves, but a last-gasp equaliser from Allstar Lions ensured that they shared the points. Going into the game having only beaten their opponents in five from thirty-one previous encounters, trailing 0-2 at the break, the poor return looked set to continue.
However, three goals in succession including a brace from Callum Archer on his return after two months out, saw the stripes take the lead. One thing is for sure though, it’s never over till the fat lady sings as far as Lions are concerned, and although she was clearing her throat Peter Madge beat her to it.
Crestwood have now gone an incredible fifty-five games on the trot where they have scored at least one goal, while their opponents have bettered that by going sixty-one. And if you’re wondering what this week’s lead photo is, the tweet below explains it all. Our sympathies go out to Wattsy and his family at this time. The WW stands for William (Bill) Watts.
The final game of the evening was a friendly as the two newest teams in SICM Sevens, albeit one has been in a little longer than the other, took on each other. Having beaten Church On The Rock FC comprehensively in their first friendly, Dudley announced that they aren’t here just to make up the numbers as they again came away with a big win. One to watch as far as defenders are concerned is Ade Lunn, who scored five.
