We trust you are all keeping well and are enjoying the new year.
Thankfully today there is no power cut – at least not yet! Power continues to go off each morning around 9am and is restored around 8/8:30pm.
Friday evening after the Prayer Meeting I was speaking to Pastor Chipamba about weekend arrangements when he received a phone call notifying him that his eldest sister had been killed in a road accident. Rose and I prayed with him. Then Pastor Chipamba left to get leave to go to Mbeya to arrange the funeral and deal with all other business. He left Saturday morning. He arranged and attended the funeral but is still there as he has been requested to meet with the police on Monday (26 Jan) as it is a Traffic case. He hopes to return Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sunday 18 January I taught the Adult Sunday School and brought the Word of god for the Morning Service with Baraka Chipamba translating for me. We concluded with a ministry time and 7 came forward in response to the Word of God.
Rose was away having been invited to minister in song. She expected to sing one song maybe two but in fact sang four times repeating the first song as this ministry caused the annointing of God to fall upon the church. Many weeping before the Lord.
Monday I was teaching at the Pastors fellowship (Bishop Mhina) speaking on “It is Finished”. The Word stirred the Pastors into a powerful prayer time.
Wednesday’s Bible Study was taken by Rose as she spoke from John 14: 1 – 6. People were blessed by the Word.
Baraka has left to return to school so I must prepare the Word of God for Sunday Morning in Swahili.
Rose sends her love and greetings.
