WEEKLY NEWS FROM KIBAHA (James Colton)

Tan flag august 2014
Thanks for your on-going prayers for us. We certainly need them.
Pastor Chipamba returned home Wednesday evening from Mbeya, having been to his eldest sister’s funeral.
Last Friday (23 Jan) I began sneezing and by evening I was full of cold. Sleeping at nights was difficult as I would suddenly wake up not being able to breathe.
I was to bring the Word of God for the Sunday Morning Service, but struggle to bring it together. In the end on Saturday I had only written 7 pages in Swahili.(An hour’s message requires I write 15 pages!). But God was in control. Sunday morning God was blessing our praise and worship and I felt led to encourage the Worship leaders to continue to 12 noon. Then I stood for the Word of God, teaching from John 14: 1 “Let not your heart be troubled” and I spoke for half an hour. I again being led by the Holy Spirit felt we should have a time of praise and that through our praising we would receive from God. Troubled hearts would be blessed with peace. Cares would all be given to God, healings would be received. Rose led this time of praise and we continued for more then half an hour. Everyone rejoicing in God and receiving from Him. It proved to be a very special morning. We thank God.
Rose sends her love and greetings.
Many of you shared with me the need for prayer as many were sick. I shared this in the Prayer Meeting and we prayed for those who were sick and for those who were carers for the sick. How are you doing? Have you seen answers to our prayers for you? Do write and tell me.
Now I am trying to shake off the last of my head cold.
God Bless.
James and Rose
