Last night’s top game, as expected, was a close affair as old rivals Allstar Lions went head-to-head with Brandhall & Quinton FC. Having beaten them already in the group stage of the DBMT, they have now completed the double, thanks to a brace from Dan Lodge.

It’s only their seventh win in twenty-three attempts at beating the Lions, so they will certainly be savouring the moment. And well done to Matt McCardle who made his 100th appearance for Brandhall.
