AND THEN THERE WERE TWO, NOW IT’S FINAL (SICM Sevens)

Last night saw the last four in the David Bloor Memorial Trophy go head-to-head, and you couldn’t have had closer games, as both saw just the odd goal divide the teams.

In a yo-yo encounter that produced some quality finishing from both sides, Crestwood edged past Tipton 6-5 to take their place in the final.

Crestwood Town FC  6     Iain Gillett (2), Kyle Carter (2), Rhys Harper, Joe Colley     MOTM: none entered

Tipton Family Church FC  5     Robin Davies (2), Dave Law (2), Chris Perry     MOTM: Simon Westwood

Allstar Lions’ hopes of doing the treble have ended as Brandhall look to see out their time in SICM Sevens with a trophy. Well, following their slender victory, they are now just one game away.

 Allstar Lions 0

Brandhall & Quinton FC  1     Adam Chester     MOTM: Rob Canning
