Tan flag august 2014
Thank you for your prayers, we thank God for good ministry.
Sunday 19 July we went to Pastor Barabilwa’s church at Mwanalughali, Mailimoja for ministry. Two services: first English service from 7am to 10am (though the message is translated into Swahili). My team, with me was Rose to minister in song singing 2 of her songs, my translator Felix and Jeremiah as driver and prayer support.
For one hour there was Adult Sunday School – we sat and listened to their teacher teach about Missions. Then from 11am to 2pm we had the Swahili service. Again Rose sang 2 songs. I had to give the same message – well basically the same, speaking about the “Message of the Cross”. We felt the Presence of God and the moving of the Holy Spirit. At the first service a young man had come to receive Jesus, also a backslider had come to repent and return to Jesus.
The second service finishes with a ministry time as people received from the Lord in response to the message.
Pastor was very happy and after the service we went back to the Pastor’s home for lunch.
Wednesday 22 July was the Bible Study and I taught on “Ready to stand against the enemy”. We have just moved to our temporary church building on the land the church has bought. As we move forward we need to stand ready against his attacks. we studied the whole armour of God from Ephesians 6. I was told it was a powerful message. We thank God.
Love and greetings from Rose.
God Bless,
James and Rose
