‘They found grace out in the desert’ (Jeremiah 31:3)

One of the important things in life is to recognise that we sometimes go through desert experiences. There are occasions when the going is tough and we encounter times of personal drought.

However, we also need to recognise that it’s often during those difficult times that some of life’s greatest lessons can be learned.

In the wilderness at the moment? Don’t necessarily despair and certainly don’t give in. See the big picture, embrace the situation, learn from it and in time you will look back and actually be thankful for your time in the desert.

Let life’s hard times mould us not break us.
