Attempting to put right a 26-0 drubbing at the hands of LS Galaxy last week, West Midlands Village again found themselves on the end of a defeat although this time it was far more respectable. In an evenly matched game it was that man, Dave Law, again who made the difference.

On the strength of the limited games so far, we have seen a shift in the balance of power and last night’s Crestwood Town FC win over Allstars 03 highlighted that. Joe Colley and Rhys Harper both scored hat-tricks as the former registered a convincing win to maintain their 100% start to the season.

Tipton Family Church FC played a friendly against  a group of lads that are ‘testing the water’ to see if they want to enter a team. Tipton ran out 6-4 winners with Jez Jeavons finding the net five times.
