MINISTRY NEWS FROM THE COLTONS (James Colton)

Thank you for your prayers for Tanzania during the elections. There were areas of unrest in Tanzania but all is now calm, though there is concern about the unrest in Zanzibar. Do keep praying for the situation in Zanzibar. Yesterday the new president was sworn in. He is a Christian but I do not know if he is born again.
Sunday 1 November we went to Silas’ church at Urafiki, Dar Es Salaam. Rose led Praise and Worship and sang two of her songs. I taught twice; first in Sunday School, teaching on “Believe; then what?” Then in the service I spoke on the “Presence and Power of God.” We concluded with a powerful ministry time.
Please pray for Silas and his church. They need help as about 2 years ago heavy rains got into the building, into the socket that had the mixer and speakers and they were totally burnt out and were impossible to repair. They need new equipment: mixer and at least 2 speakers. Please pray and if you feel led to help send your contribution to Stewart at SICM.
Rose’s ministry, her CD has been played on Wapo Radio and there is much interest in her ministry. Today, Saturday and Sunday evenings Rose has been invited to minister in song at the seminars being put on by Pastor Michael in Kibaha.

This Sunday we will be back to our home church at Bethel – Jamaica.
God Bless,
James and Rose
