As the pastor at Tipton Family Church, I don’t preach out much these days. I used to have a full diary that extended some months in advance but felt I needed to focus on my home church for Sundays, so over a period of time the emphasis changed.
I do speak out occasionally though (especially Sunday evenings when we don’t have a service) and this last week I’ve taken two bookings in a Baptist Church, one in a Pentecostal Church and another in an Evangelical fellowship.
Whether home base or on the road, I enjoy taking services or just going as a guest preacher. Even though I don’t promote that side of things these days, it’s always nice when you’re on people’s minds when it comes to guest speakers.
