MINSTRY REPORT (James Colton)

Tan flag august 2014

Hi
Thanks for your prayer support.
Sunday 11th in the morning we went to Bishop Nassania’s church at Kongowe to share in the Celebration as it was the 2nd Anniversary. I taught Sunday School and brought the Word of God in the service speaking about Thanksgiving. Rose translated for me, besides helping to lead Praise and Worship and ministering in song.
Then in the afternoon we went to Pastors Fellowship to Sayuni Assembly to support Pastor Halisoni. I had been asked to speak to encourage the pastors, I was teaching on how the Bible reveals God but we must search out and dig for the truths, being hungry for the Word and to know God more. Rose lead Praise and Worship and sang one of her songs.
Tuesday to Saturday there were crusade meetings at Sayuni Assembly and Rose was the Leader for Praise and Worship each day as well as ministering her own songs. Different pastors spoke each day and I ministered on Wednesday. We thank God as we had 6 decisions for Jesus as well as 4 young children coming forward. Also we prayed for the sick.
Sunday 18th September we went to Kibamba to do ministry for Bishop Brown. I spoke for the Bible Study, speaking on how to strengthen yourself in the Lord God – see 1 Samuel 30:6. Then in the service I spoke on Salvation – full salvation. About 12 children and young people aged 8 -15 came forward in response to receive Jesus. We praise and thank God. Rose translated for me and also lead Praise and Worship and was asked to sing 2 of her songs.

Our daughter Asunta and our spiritual son Jeremiah helped in the prayer ministry. WE give praise and glory to God. Bishop Brown has asked us to go back for a week of seminars.

Friday to Sunday 23 – 25 September we are doing seminars at Sayuni Assembly.
Please keep us in your prayers.
God Bless,
James and Rose
